INTERNSHIP

Mark Skalny Photography firmly believes that emerging photography talent should be embraced and nurtured. To this end, we have set up an internship program whereby Mark and his team will mentor an aspiring photographer interested in entering the world of commercial photography.

The program is set up on a semester basis and is specifically structured to meet the needs of both Mark Skalny Photography and the chosen intern. In some instances an intern will receive compensation and/or college credit.

The following are highlights of the Internship Program which you should read before applying:

How the Internship Program Works:

• Offered on a Semester Basis (Fall or Spring)
• Amount of Hours/Days per week structured according to Intern’s schedule
• Assignments involve every aspect of commercial photography: assisting with on-location shoots, lighting, computer imaging, office duties.

What we look for in an Intern:

• Documented interest in commercial photography, i.e. enrolled in photography program
• Experience in the field
• Professionalism
• Commitment to Program
• Flexibility (some weekend work will be necessary)
